Birds: Egypt has many Migratory birds around 470 species where identified in Egypt and from all those 470 only 150 are resident breeders. Egypt has wetlands and they are divided between the Mediterranean and Red Sea coast and the inland wetlands of the Nile Valley. They are habitats for many water birds such as Greater Flamingo, Osprey terns and gulls.

Mammals: Egypt has 93 species of mammals. 6 are endemic, 13 are Cetacea (whales and dolphins) and 1 Sirenian (Dugong) have been recorded in the Red Seas. The Rodentia are the largest group with 32 species from tiny Pygmy Gerbil to the Crested Porcupine. There are 20 species of Carnivora, with 4 foxes including the Fennec. Around 20 species of these mammals are endangered in Egypt. Cheetah is now only found in the Qatar Depression, the Barbary Sheep is now restricted to Uweunat and Gebel Elba and the Slender-homed Gazells are reduces. A huge number amount of small mammals on the Mediterranean coast are under threat development.

Reptiles and Amphibians: There are 106 species of reptiles and amphibians in Egypt. There are 49 species of lizards, 36 snake species, 18 poisonous. There are 5 species of seas turtles that are global endangered. The Egyptian tortoise is endangered. There are 5 species of toads joined with one tree frog and two other species. The Nike Crocodile is now only found in laker Nasser with the Nile Monitor and the Nile soft-shelled Turtle.

Flora: There are 2075 species of plants in Egypt. Egypt has a very hot climate, but most of these are adapted to the climate. Some plants grow in the Nile valley and have developed strategies to conserve water. The sinai Peninsula has the most diversity in species including 19 that are endemic to Egypt: many of these plants are of medical importance so we must take care of our environment.

Red Sea fishes; The red sea is important to Egypt for the movement of good, especially oil, but it is also important for its marine life. The reefs are the one of the most beautiful in the world and many divers are attracted to it. There are over 1300 species of fish, more than a thousand species of mollusks, 200 corals more than 250 bristle worms and so on, all in this small area. Most of the interesting, beautiful and accessible of the creatures that live in the Red Sea are to be found on the coral reefs, but sadly they are being polluted with sunglasses, plastic bags, garbage and they are slowly dying.

Alternative Transportation Methods: People should start using more public transportation, fuel-efficient vehicles, or carpooling as it releases less air pollutants in comparison to commuting by cars. Reducing the amount of pollutants emitted by vehicles can help decrease the respiratory and cardiovascular issues and saving plants that take in the polluted air and die as well develop a cleaner environment.
Reduce, Recycle and Reuse: The most effective method to reduce wastes and pollution is by recycling the wastes and materials. Instead of producing new products, one can recycle the old products and wastes thus saving energy, money, and most importantly reducing pollution by avoiding production (air pollution from factories' chimneys and the transportation of goods by cars which also emit toxic smoke and chemicals as well as water pollution from factories' pipes transmitting wastes into water and killing sea life.)

- Conserve Energy: Habits of saving energy by turning off the television and switching off unnecessary light can reduce emissions from bill coal-fired electricity plants. Reducing the use of energy also means reducing air pollution and helping in decreasing respiratory and cardiovascular diseases as well as saving plants.

- Clean Energy: Using environmentally friendly cleaning products and disposing it will help reduce the amount of CO2 released everyday. For example, Phosporus in detergents increases nutrient loads in rivers and that may cause excessive algal growth. Also, pouring chemicals or fertilizers down drains might enter into river streams or the ocean, which as a result, will further pollute the water environment. Therefore, by using cleaner products, one will avoid getting affected by water pollution and can save the under-sea life.

http://air-pollution1.weebly.com/possible-solutions.html

Many taxis and buses running on the streets of Cairo are old and emit dangerous levels of fumes into the air. On a rare clear night, one can look from the desert and see the large, black cloud of smoke that hangs permanently over the city and its nearly 20 million residents.

The World Health Organizations says just breathing the air in Cairo, Egypt, for one day is equivalent to smoking 20 cigarettes. Air pollution and waste management are major problems, but the city has been making some progress. Recently the city co-hosted an environmental awareness day at a new park, that was built over a former waste landfill.

http://www.voanews.com/a/a-13-2008-06-09-voa57/403529.html

Car emissions, chemicals from factories, dust, pollen and mold spores may be suspended as particles. Ozone, a gas, is a major part of air pollutionin cities. When ozone forms air pollution, it's also called smog. Some air pollutants are poisonous
