Physical domain is moving around. Dancing, fine motor skills, and sensory. We do fine motor skills crafts, we sing and dance to songs as a group, for quiet time we do sensory bins to get their hands moving.

We teach the children to use their words, say a child comes up to me and says “I need this done” we say “how do you ask nicely?” They then use words like “help please” or “quana/ thank you” we use language everyday so it’s a big thing to teach the children to use their words.

When an infant needs a bit of love and attention, I pick them up comfort them give them a hug or even play with them. The feeling lets them know they are cared for and this teaches them that they can do same to other infants.

When an infant is having trouble learning to do something with building blocks, I teach them and that allows them to get comfortable in building. Or even learning to put on their shoes when banana feet and show them which side goes on which foot.

Managing emotions such as developing strategies to cope with and express emotions in healthy ways, such as learning to self-soothe or using deep breathing during stressful times. It can also build relationships developing social skills, empathy, and the ability to form secure and meaningful connections with others. If you wanted to promote this development in an activity you can do Emotion Charades act out different emotions with facial expressions and body language for others to guess, which helps children recognize and express feelings.

We get the children to do baking , before we do any theme baking we ask the children what do we add in or what do we not use for any bakings recipes . They children gets excited when they talk about what are they going to make or what they learned about baking..
