I See...
1. Lots of color on one side and grey and black on the other
2. Fish on one side, nothing on the other
3.Large coral bushes on one side, they are destroyed on the other
4. Beautiful see floors one one side, it is covered with dead coral on the other
5. Purple and orange coral
6. Rock seafloors
7. A very live side and a very dead side
Think:
1. Because I see broken and dead coral on the after side, I think that the live coral was run over by a ship, destroying it all
2. Because there are no fish and the water is darker on one side, I think that the water is also polluted
3. Because there are no fish and the water is darker on one side, I think the coral provided food or shelter to the fish, and color to the water
I wonder...
1. What happened to the coral
2. Why the water is darker
3. How much later was the after picture taken
4. What are the pictures before/after
5. Are the pictures taken at the same time of the year/day

I see that the reef on the left is more colorful and the water is lighter while the reef on the right is dark.
4. I see that the images are juxtaposition each other.
5. I see that image says "Keep the Reef Green."
6. I see that the reef is dying but not fully dead.
7. I see lots of water around the reef.

Think:
1.

See:
1. I See lots of color on the left side
3. I see a dull side on the right
4. I see fish
5. I do not see fish
6. I see coral
7. I see water
8. I see a wetsuit
9. I see 2 Scuba Diver
10. I see a big sign that says keep the reef Great
11. I see a breathing tank

Think:
1. Because I see lots of color on one side and because I see the other side is very dull I think that these photos were taken at two different times.
2. Because I see many fish on the left side and the picture is brighter and because I see the right side is duller with less fish I can say that one side of the reef is more alive than the other side.
3. Because I see two scuba divers holding a sign that says," Keep the Reef Great." I think that the scuba divers want to keep the reef from dying.
4. Because on the sign says, "Greenpeace" I think that Greenpeace is an organization that is trying to keep the reef alive.

Wonder:
1. I wonder what is killing the reef?
2. I wonder what will happen if the reef dies?
3. I wonder how long it will be till the reef is dead?
4. I wonder how recent these images were taken?
5. I wonder what Greenpeace is?

Very light water on the top
6. Much darker water on bottom
Think:
1. Because the water at the top of the image is very light and the brightness of the water changes very quickly, I think this was taken very close to the shore
2. Because the sign says keep the reef great and that they are near healthy coral, I think that Greenpeace restored this coral
I Wonder...
1.When this was taken
2.What greenpeace does
3.How they plan to keep the reef great
4.
