He was born on July 13th,&nbsp; 1951 in Rotterdam , Netherlands and currently lives in Santa Cruz, California. Lanting works in many different parts of the world including the Amazon basin, Africa and Antarctica. His photographs are regularly published in National Geographic.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><a href="http://www.biography.com/people/henri-cartier-bresson-9240139">Henri Cartier-Bresson</a> was a French humanist photographer. He was born&nbsp; August 22, 1908 and died August 3, 2004. To many he is considered the father of candid photography. He pioneered the genre of street photography, which remains very prominent if not the leading style of photography today. He and his work has influenced many photographers.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><a href="http://www.biography.com/people/ansel-adams-9175697">Ansel Adams</a> was an American photographer and environmentalist. He was born in February 20, 1902&nbsp; and died April 22, 1984. He became widely popular for his black and white landscape photographs of Yosemite National Park. Adams also developed new advancements for the technology of photography.&nbsp; Adams along with Fred Archer developed the Zone System as a way to determine proper exposure and adjust the contrast of the final print. The resulting clarity and depth characterized his photographs.</div>]]></description>
