- Politely listen to their explanation and understand their point of view. Still, if I  do not agree with the explanation, I would politely nod and agree to them if it is not a big/serious issue so avoid conflict in the family.

- Politely tell them my perspective and explain to them why do I think that way. This will lead them to view things from different perspectives, not just holding on their principles too firmly. I will express my opinion politely so that it would not cause hard feelings on them but at the same time, let them know about my opinion.

- While convincing them with my point of view, I will always be aware of my speech styles, gestures, posture and ensure that there will be eye contact to show my respect towards them. Besides, I will not interrupt them when they are speaking.
