Trevor was born in Browning Montana but grew up on the Navajo Nation and now currently making his living in Chandler Arizona. In his early years Trevor has grown up in a rural setting by living in a dirt floor traditional hogan without running water and electricity. He has a passion for traditional ceremonies, powwows, and is culturally driven.

_{The research is indisputable. Culturally responsive practices help students feel valued, make learning rigorous and relevant and assist stakeholders with understanding and removing barriers to achievement. During this session, we will review the history of culturally responsive practices and discuss strategies for implementation.}

_{The session will include systems that encourage an effective classroom environment, as well as working with individual student behaviors. In addition, I will include some instructional strategies to employ to keep students engaged and on task.}

_{The Labriola National American Indian Data Center is an Indigenous-led library at Arizona State University (ASU) that is dedicated to supporting cultural resilience for Indigenous students and Tribal communities in their library programming and services. This presentation will focus on how the Labriola defines and implements cultural resiliency practices in their library.}

_{Public education has a wealth of data, but it is difficult to connect, sift through and pull out what is meaningful. In this session, you will be introduced to a set of tools and projects by the ASU Helios Decision Center for Educational Excellence that help pull together the most useful education data into one place so that education stakeholders can understand their students and communities, and make informed decisions to improve student outcomes. These tools are built for Arizona and this session will emphasize how to focus on Indigenous students and schools.}

_{Children and youths who experience homelessness face many barriers to education, yet school can be a source of stability, support, and hope during a time of confusion and trauma when a young person loses his or her housing. McKinney-Vento Homeless Liaisons play a key role in ensuring homeless children and youths are identified and provided key services and supports to ensure their success.}

_{This session aims to demystify the updated ESEA Consolidated Application process, empowering school district staff with the knowledge and tools necessary for successful application and compliance. A detailed review of recent changes, best practices for compliance, and an interactive Q&A session, participants will leave the session prepared to leverage federal funding effectively to support their educational goals.}

_{We will engage students in extensive voter registration training through interactive activities, stories of our personal civic engagement experiences, and a detailed slideshow presentation.}

_{This session will dive deep into the Gears Framework, the Project Momentum foundation for school improvement. We will look at the research behind the gears and how each gear plays a crucial role in helping student succeed. Participants will explore various ADE resources and discover their potential benefits of teachers in effective planning. Instructional strategies will be modeled throughout the presentation.}

_{This workshop explores the impact that adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) have upon Native American children, adolescents and adults. ACEs are stressful or traumatic events, including abuse and neglect, but also include household dysfunction such as witnessing domestic violence or growing up with family members who have substance use disorders. ACEs are strongly related to the development and prevalence of a wide range of health problems throughout a person’s lifespan, including those associated with alcohol and substance misuse, family violence and suicide.}

_{A brief introduction on the definition of chronic absenteeism and the impact it has on Indigenous students. Using the fishbowl protocol, the facilitator will guide the inner panel through questions regarding attendance. The outer circle will be observers with a chance to add to the discussion. In closing, participants will leave with resources to begin tackling this nation-wide issue.}
