I picked this because the book appeals for me and i thin a lot of teenage girls.

Zero experiences an inner journey as through the duration of the film he sees a different side to life, and in the end realises that his marking wasn't something to be unhappy about.

This poem is both a physical journey, telling a story through memories and an inner one. Reflecting on the past. The speaker reflects on his father. Communicating that his father was not warm, and his house was filled with "chronic angers". However the speaker resolves his thoughts, saying that he never understood that small things such as lighting the fires and polishing his shoes were the way in which is father tried to show love. He is sorry he never knew.
