Pros -- the way the pages were split. I think we've had decent amounts to read each given deadline, and personally I found it to be smooth sailing.
Cons -- I'm going to agree with Josh & Katelyn when it comes to keeping up with notes. I find myself behind on them and try to focus on my enjoyment towards the novel more. Lit Circles altogether could substitute for them.

Pros - good practice for higher english courses. Reading on our own can help us internalize the information.
Cons - Notes become more difficult to keep up on because we're on our own. The need for notes isn't really there because we discuss the novel in these Lit Circles, making it harder(for me at least).

The end of the book confirmed the theme of letting go for me. All themes in the novel tie into each other nicely. Loneliness, individuality, and acceptance(letting go) are all inherently tied together. The novel also teaches the valuable life lesson of looking ahead to the future, and understanding that dwelling on the past for too long hurts more than it will help.
