Growing up, I thought that one of the most important aspects of life was family, and even though it is, I realized that surrounding yourself around the people you randomly met one day makes life a little brighter. It is important to always look for the people who uplift you, and support you through even the most difficult circumstances. One day we will most likely grow apart to begin our own lives, that's why it is essential that we as friends, cherish every laugh and every moment together.

Sports/Soccer

Growing up as a kid, I always enjoyed kicking a ball around whether it was a beach ball, or a tiny bouncy ball you earned out of the little vending machines. I joined a team for about 3 years while living in Georgia, and then I moved back to Illinois. Eventually, the LOVE that I had for soccer faded as the years went by, mostly because I was growing up and had much more to worry about, but nevertheless, I still enjoy being on teams because of the people that I can surround myself with.

Listening to music has always been one of my favorite hobbies, especially when cleaning or needing a second to relax. My favorite style of music is mostly made up of R&B, and my favorite artist is Drake.

Food

No matter where I am, or who I am with, food is something that I will always enjoy. Sea food boils are the best thing that I have ever discovered, because of the mix of sauces, and all the different meats. Even though I am a Hispanic, I do not really enjoy most of the food. One food that I will eat any day tho is Ceviche, which is a Peruvian dish. That is why most people call me white-washed, but IMO I cannot control what I like. If the function does not contain food, trust me, I will not be pulling up!

Family

Family is something that you should never take for granted. Whether it is just mom, dad, sister, brother, aunt, or whoever, you should always stick together. Even though my parents are separated, it is always a blessing to have each other no matter what.

Language

As a little girl who came from a Hispanic Family, my first language was Spanish. I don't remember it all clearly, but I remember being so fluent that I barely even spoke English after I was taught. I also don't remember English being that hard to learn, but now that is my favorite subject in school, and I can never stop talking! Sadly, my Spanish became worse for the criteria of my mother, but I laugh it off.

Fashion

Fashion from the 90's, especially in today's generation is booming. Thankfully, I was able to grow out of the tie-dye fit phase. Th rifting has become one of my top hobbies because of the endless amounts of creativity that is put into to building the best fits. Fashion can also be out of the ordinary and it allows you to look and feels different from everyone else.

Education

When I was in 5th Grade, I moved back to Georgia, and continued my education as Cass Jr High. At first, it was hard adjusting to the new changes, to making new friends, and most importantly, to the Covid-19 pandemic crisis. I spent most of the two years there over a screen, but this school taught me everything I know. I went through experiences that helped me find who I am today, and without my 8th grade teachers I would be nowhere, so shout out to them!

Technology

As much as it sucks to admit, technology has taken over much of the minds of the people in society today. I can admit that. People get too involved with drama and all that, but sometimes technology is important for school, work, and sometimes just some fun. I love being on my phone and playing on my PS4.

Gen Z

As a person who belongs Gen Z, I believe that most of the people are very scared and hopeless, which means that there is little to no hope for the future, but then there are people who are always ready to push though anything to get to where they want to be in life. Sadly, Gen Z is more focused on drama, guns, drugs, and other things more than their future.
