The first sentence of this article sums up the experience of many black women in the professional world. This article describes lengths black women have to go through to maintain their positions in the workplace. The National Center for Transgender Equality researched how and which victims experience violence and discrimination in their daily lives. Their findings showed that trans women of color experience discrimination more than their white counterparts.
