Poultry mostly chickens are farmed in great numbers. Farmers raise more than 50 billion chickens annually as a source of food, both for their meat and for their eggs.Chickens raised for eggs are usually called layers while chickens raised for meat are often called broilers. First domesticated chicken is indian origin. The other purpose of poultry is cockfighting in Asia, Africa and Europe.</div>]]></description>

These resources may take the form of seed collections stored in <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seedbank">seed banks</a>, trees growing in nurseries, animal breeding lines maintained in animal breeding programs or <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gene_bank">gene banks</a>, etc. Germplasm collections can range from collections of wild species to elite, domesticated breeding lines that have undergone extensive human selection. Germplasm collection is important for the maintenance of biological diversity and food security.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>GROUP 1<br><br>🏝 Genetic resources for food and agriculture are the raw materials upon which the world relies to improve the productivity and quality of crops, livestock, forestry and fisheries, as well as to maintain healthy populations of wild species. <br><br>🏝 The conservation and sustainable use of genetic resources for food and agriculture is therefore at the core of food security and nutrition. Conserving and using a wide range of diversity – both among species and within species – means securing options to respond to future challenges.<br><br>🏝 The main animal species used for food and agriculture production are cattle, sheep, goats, chickens and pigs. <br><br>🏝 In the livestock world, these species are often referred to as "the big five". Some less-utilized species include the dromedary, donkey, bactrian camel, buffalo, guinea pig, horse, rabbit, yak, goose, duck, ostrich,partridge, pheasant, pigeon, and turkey.</div>]]></description>
