For one of the first practices of the year we where to walk a dog in pairs for around an hour and a half, around small bridge. we needed to take the dog we where assigned, some dogs don't react well to the other dogs so we needed to make sure we restrained the dog correctly and firmly.If the dog was to defecate we needed to pick it up using a small black bags. This was then put in a bin to prevent any accidents. During the walk we needed to make sure the dog we were walking didn't eat and slugs/snails/rubbish or conkers because this could lead the dog to become rather ill or contract parasites such as lungworm.
I learnt to correctly restrain the dog when they're trying to get to the other dog in the room.
