<title>Will Lumb: Australia should have increased the GST? Why or Why not?I think this is a question that has two sides that I agree on. Yes, because it raises the amount of money that the government can use on important things such as roads, hospitals or even schools. This also is good because it is kind of like a cycle. In this way because if you pay for something and 10% of that is going to the government, then in the end the government will help you. For example if you went to the canteen at school and you bought a muffin. 10% (or now 12.5%) of that would go to the government. The government could then use that money to improve your school. It’s a win-win situation really. What ‘open ended’ questions do you have about the GST?- Do people always pay GST?- How else does the GST tax affect our daily lives?- What would happen if we made the GST higher?</title>

<title>Sammy Miller: GST TAXI think they should not change the GST tax because people who earn the money not taxed will get less money as there salaries go down because less is paid to the producers and more to the government and the government does get on well enough but if they did change I hope they would use it on helping the community but if they ad to the GST the producers will earn less but if they tax more items more will go hungry lacking even these basic needs. So I think it should not change. Because the bad slightly outweighs the good.</title>
