The incidents In this video, I address the issue of bullying in educational institutions, specifically in the context of aggression in the classroom. I explore how bullying affects students emotionally and the importance of addressing this problem. In addition, I analyze a particular incident that highlights the need to dialogue and work together to prevent and address bullying in schools.

• Topic: The verb tobe

• Objective of the class:

  The main objective was to review the verb tobe, to know its meanings, and its pronunciation. The students will be able to identify and pronounce correctly the sentences of the workshop.

• Warming:

  The warm-up consisted of asking if someone knew or knew about the topic, without having spoken about it, an oral activity.

• Presentation:

  The teacher uses the blackboard to explain the topic, and repeats in the same way with the pronouns and the verb tobe, they make sentences, pronounce and repeat.

1. How would you advise your peer to handle that situation?

I would recommend my partner to talk to the child about what she would like to implement with the ball, this would get the child to think and help implement an activity, and everyone would be able to focus on the class.

Another recommendation would be to not get frustrated, and try to take the class to other standards than what was planned, that is to be recursive to the context it is in, and the situation itself would be more manageable, and could project a successful class.

2. What do you think your peer learned from this critical incident?

My colleague learned the importance of being recursive in a planned context, since the classes are not always going to be the way we have planned them, but she as a teacher must adapt to the moment, according to the situation, that is to say, she learned to be recursive and dynamic at the same time.

3. After reflecting on their critical incident, would you react differently if it happened to you? Why or why not?

I think I would react in the same way, because in the end she implemented the dynamic of being recursive as a teacher, in my experience as a teacher I have been able to understand that there is always something to learn and that each class is another experience, and this makes us more teachers and more people, to be willing to similar the problem and how to turn it positive in our life.

The critical incident of disruptive behavior in class made me reflect on the importance of communication, I understood that beyond correcting students it is important to analyze the causes of these behaviors, I realized how necessary it is to foster a welcoming environment where students feel involved in their learning process, achieving a positive environment.

1. How would you advise your peer to handle that situation? I would recommend my partner to talk to the child who is being discriminated against, showing her support and confidence so that the child feels supported, encouraging inclusion in the classroom by promoting collaborative activities and reinforcing mutual respect.

2. What do you think your peer learned from this critical incident? I think my partner learned the importance of empathy and the impact bullying can have on a person's life, she also learned how to intervene immediately as silence can cause problems and she learned how important it is to be supportive and contribute to creating a more welcoming environment.

3. After reflecting on their critical incident, would you react differently if it happened to you? Why or why not? I think I would react in the same way, encouraging a dialogue and making them understand the importance of respect and not remaining silent in these situations, I would make sure my student knows that they have support and I would look for ways to create inclusive spaces that promote empathy.
