I like the calmness of the blue and the movement in the sky; it's very soothing. I also like the mountain because it is kinda of ominous and mysterious. The stars are arranged very pleasingly and with purpose to add to the flowing movement. -Ayla

I got to see this painting in person! Although the picture doesn’t show it very well, the brush strokes were very thin and precise, especially on each of the individual curls. I think the attention to detail really stuck with me.

It's gorgeous. It shows death waiting to the side and the various stages of life from birth to death. It's in my opinion an allegory to human existence and how death looms over every part of your life; how its almost omnipotent, silently watching until it reveals itself.

I love the collection of different animals and the designs they have. For instance, the shark looks very interesting with the zipper on its back and I love the other animals in the background. Makes it feel like a dream jungle.

I really like how the colors really come together, as well as the waviness of the brush strokes really invoking multiple feelings within you. There are so many questions as well, like why are they screaming and where are they?

I like cranes because they can fly and they look cool. The artist did a great job incoorperating two cranes into his deisng and they used a good color choice, especially on the top of the crane's head. (Arda)

I love the vastness of this painting. The clouds are massive, the landscape is filled with mountains, and Joshua and the other people are tiny. The gray/brown tones make the scene look very bleak and almost otherworldly, like even the scenery is fighting against Joshua. But there's also hope in this image; the light in the upper-right corner looks like a hole in the ceiling of a giant cavern, offering a way out. It's a pretty moving piece.
