         <title>Analysis of a Non-Fictional Text                                                                 The given article “Why I am not excited about H&amp;M Australian Launch” by Maddie Newman, which was released on 7th April 2014 and deals with a new H&amp;M store in Australia and some reasons why Maddie Newman isnt excited about the shop.  At the beginning the author describes the new H&amp;M store in Melbourne with many details.After this ,the given text mentions the low prices of the clothes , and goes into the management of H &amp; M&#39;s money.The author also speaks of the fact ,that people buy more and more clothes than they even need ,because the clothes are so cheap and often it seems that the clothes are of good quality. She writes in everday English and this very natural and fluent. The article is very factual,understandable and serious .Newmans intention is ,that the consumers must think about what they need and buy.There are examples for her critical opinion to the store :”Quantity over quality is horribly unsustainable approach”(l.23). “wallet friendly clothes “(l.16-17) is a metaphor and  underpinned the different tricks from H&amp;M.  All in one the message behind the text is that we all do not care about the production and the correct value of the product .  </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Analysis of a Non-Fictonal Text<br><br>The Blog "Why I'm Not Excited About H&amp;M's Australian Launch" which was written by Maddie Newman and and published in 4.7.2014, criticizes H&amp;M and his involment in fast fashion and fast fashion in general.<br><br>First of all the author tells the reader about the opening of the first H&amp;M in Australia and give few information about it. With their cheap prices they encourage thougless consumption and the misunderstanding that "good" fashion is accessible for everyone now. And that at the end not the customers but the company the winners&nbsp; of fast fashion and that they make a lot of money and the clothes are not sustainables and come apart very fast, because the attention on the production is on quantity and not quality. <mark>She says we buy things&nbsp; without consideration and awareness of production, transport etc. and the H&amp;M doesn't behave in an exemplary manner. After that she says that H&amp;M isn' completley bad and that they have good deeds like being the largest buyers of organic cotton and more, but they lost on valaue because the bad side.</mark> Her last Point is the big waste and pollution of water and the transport of the clothes emits a lot of carbon dioxide. At the end she appeals to the readers that they should think twice before buying cheap clothes.<br><br>It's immediately clear for the reader that she has an negative opinion of H&amp;M "...for the retailer's&nbsp; dirt-cheap 'fast fashion'."(l. 4)&nbsp; this is rough language for an information text and its most used in a negative context. After saying the positve aspects from (ll. 1-11) (exept the "dirt cheap" line) she's saying that these aren't good things (l. 12) "And therein lies the problem." with that sentence she degrades all the thinks she said before and continues.&nbsp; In (ll. 17-19) she say that word "designer inspired" and then she say in brackets that this term is played down for a "shameless rip-off" here we a have again a rough language that show us a funadamentally negative opinion aginst H&amp;M.&nbsp; In addition she says 'mad bank' (l. 25) so shes using Slang too.&nbsp; She think that H&amp;M tricks the Customers and make them think that buying a lot of cheap clothes is something good how u can see in (ll.19-20) "...has led many to confuse this increasing disposability of fashion with 'democratisation'." she want to say with that, that people mistake it for kind of fair market for fashion because of the easy availability of a wide variety of clothes. And in (ll. 21-23) "But with cheap prices, the victor isn't&nbsp; really the consume-- it's the fast fashion empires."&nbsp; so the customer will get the feeling that they have an benefit because they can get a lot of clothes for little money. But in real the Winners are H&amp;M that they can sell&nbsp; lot of clothes with a little amount of production costs. Even if H&amp;M have they good sides it's nothing compare to the&nbsp; Bad sides in (ll. 59-67) she's counting the good things they do but direct after that she says they a "dwarfed" (l.68) in (ll. 80-83) u can see it again "No matter how many 'conscious collections' H&amp;M produce as long as they make more and more clothes their impact on the enviroment is significant." what ever they do isn't important as long they don't stop produce so much clothes. At last she says that we should think about the cost of our jeans not the 12$ no the cost that u can buy the clothes (ll. 95-96) she want that the reader have a awareness of what they buy.<br><br>I come to the conclusion that she wanted to educate the readers about fast fashion and tell them why they shouldn't buy so many clothes and why H&amp;M shouldn't be so adored. Her arguments are strong and well executed. I agree to her opinion that we shouldn't buy to much cheap clothes if its not necessary.<br><br>&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The given article “Why I am not excited about H&amp;M Australian Launch” by Maddie Newman, which was released on 7th April 2014 talks about the negative side of H&amp;Ms production.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>The author begins by saying that everyone was excited to buy the “dirt cheap fast fashion” which makes it sound very aggressive. She classifies the cheap outfits as a problem, because she believes that it makes customers buy clothes they sometimes don’t necessarily need which directly influences environmental and human costs. <mark>The author also makes a comment on paying their workers in Bangladesh by 2018 and talks about not owning any of their own factories and not having any contact with suppliers.  (What does it mean?)</mark>She still mentions that H&amp;M has good sides. She mentions that it’s one of the worlds largest buyers of organic cotton but that the succeeded achievements are dwarfed by the amount of resources. She calls the fast fashion a huge drain on the environment and that the textile industry is one of the largest users and polluters of water. She sounds very serious because of the used term “huge drain” which also gives of a depressive and sad atmosphere. Besides, she mentions that a single pair of jeans need the same big amount of water as carbon dioxide when driving 125km. This gives off a sarcastic tone because she used the term “a single pair”. At the end she makes clear that when buying a jeans one should think about the true costs which are much lower.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
