I prepared an informative board to explain the life cycle of a seed to children.

As seed samples, I brought beans, pumpkin seeds and different kinds of flower seeds.

We chatted with the children about seeds and tried to understand them through the board I prepared for informational purposes.

We planted bean seeds in the garden where we had previously planted compost.

We put soil in two plastic seed packages. The children and I planted flower seeds in one and bean seeds in the other. We watered them little by little every day and tried to observe.

We played our digital game about healthy eating.

We examined the life cycle of a seed. We learned how seeds turn into plants. We examined a few seed samples that we brought to our class.

We added visuals related to our project to our school board. Images of plants and animals, the development of the plant, the transformation of the butterfly and frog, photos from our project, etc. We examined our board with the children.

We made a mini greenhouse in our class. We examined the compost we had made in the garden before and took soil and fertilizer from it. We germinated beans in our class. We buried the germinated beans in our soil. One of our students also brought a flower seedling. We placed it in our greenhouse with our compost soil. We observed the growth of our plants.

Together with the children, we tried to draw simple animal pictures from numbers. We converted the pictures we drew into animation using the web 2 tool.

The children drew their favorite animals. We animated the animals they drew with the metademolap application. The children had a lot of fun when they saw the moving pictures.
