-The act of poaching is to enter another's or protected land without permission to hunt or steal animals.
-And the act of trafficking is to trade or deal (on this case animals) in a specific commodity or service, often of an illegal nature.

  • The loss of wild animals harms humans. Lots of people depend on animals to provide their meat protein and to provide traditional medicines that are used for years and years.
  • Trapping a wild animal in a house negatively impacts in families and society, as it can produce diseases, affect tourism, and strengthen  an international illegal trafficking network.
  • By taking an animal to a place that doesn’t have what he eats, the animals that it is used to, and has a different habitat you are disturbing it. Especially when it is an invasive specie. This animals can end up harming other animals and even people. There are lots of invasive species being introduced to animal traffickers and people are buying them.

    1. Learn about endangered species in your area- Teach your friends and family about the endangered species in your area. The first step of understanding why animal endangerment is a problem is by knowing the animals and how they are important. This could help to raise awareness.
    2. Recycle and buy sustainable products- Avoid buying products that can affect animals in some way. For example, don’t buy a chair made from rain forest wood, recycle your old phone and things like that. If you don’t buy they aren’t going to need to reproduce.
    3. Don’t buy products made from threatened animals- When you buy something make sure it doesn’t involve an animal that is in danger. For example when you buy a souvenir that is real coral you think that it’s really cool but it was home to some animal and by buying it they will produce it more. Avoid it and help loads of creatures that are in danger.
    This suggestions aren’t going to stop animal endangerment but they are going to help. Please do your part.
