I had been shaking from the nicotine withdrawal for hours, scratching the skin on my forearm until it bled. I showed up to the bureau where I worked, but just as I pulled up, it exploded. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a tall, white woman wearing a red flannel shirt with greasy, long black hair racing toward a white van. She gets into a red Dodge Daytona which was parked right next to it, when suddenly I look closely at the van-

“FREE MANGO JUUL PODS” it said in big, black, bold letters. It brought me back to the good ole’ days of the mango pods, I could taste the citrus on my tongue just at the thought of seeing it.

I start running toward the van. I pried the side door open, only to see a handful of Virginia tobacco pods lying in a dusty pile.

Just then, Donald Trump shows up and snatches the pods from his hands.

“Jokes on you, I AM the mango!”

As I stand behind the crowd, I see the speaking eyes. The brightly colored canvas turns dull and dry. The darkness starts caving in, I'm really doing this again. Erase all you can, don't do this again. Right back to square one, the eyes don't speak another word. In the end the brush reaches the canvas once more. What am I thinking? What are they thinking?

“It's all in my head,” I tell myself time after time after time.

All I see are blank faces. The eyes disappear and I'm left wondering. Worrying.

I woke up filled with excitement knowing today is my 8th birthday. I hear my mom call my name, I race down the stairs towards my mom’s gentle, caring voice. As I make my way towards the kitchen I see my mom carrying a cardboard box. I walk up to her with curiosity. My mom gestures me to take a seat. I sit down at the dining table and my mom carefully places the box in front of me. she then tells me to look inside. I quickly opened the box to find many old pictures. I pick one out of the photographs to get a closer look. I saw me but younger: I was with two strangers who were much older than I was. It looked like we were enjoying ourselves in a bright, green, grassy park. I then looked at another picture, it had three things written on it. One of them was my first and last name and the two other names that were next to the strangers had the same last names as I did. It took me a moment to realize what I was seeing. I froze, shocked and confused, I felt like I wanted to puke but then I heard a whisper from behind, it was my mom.

“Happy Birthday!” “It was a secret surprise.”

Dark stormy hour.....It was a dark stormy night as Willow walked through the forest. She had been kidnapped and left in the forest to find her own way out. She was scared, just as any one else would be if they walked through the forest at night. She then felt as if her foot had just stepped in water, although her shoe was not wet to the touch. She thought nothing of it as she continued to walk through the forest, until she stepped on a flattened pile of wet leaves. Just then she fell into a pit of darkness… the only thing she knew at that point was that it was a dark stormy night and no one would ever find her in a black hole towards the middle of the forest.Later on her body was found sitting against the wall of the black pit. Investigators wondered if she had just sat there staring at the stars through every night but at the blue sky through the break of day to dusk. The case was later closed and never again would it be reopened due to disturbing evidence that was later on found. No one really knew about this incident because of the government not wanting people to freak out over 30 deaths in the last month, and it was all related to one person that did it all.

We sat in the basement, the High Priest speaking in front of us in his usual ‘higher’ tone.

“This is it everyone! Humanity is doomed unless we fight back against the Pillars from Hell, prepare the ritual!”

For about an hour, we chanted, but it only seemed to be a few minutes. Magic itself comes from our patron Luna, the goddess of the moon. Or rather, the goddess in the moon.

The Pillars are attacking Earth to gather human worshipers of Luna, us, to sacrifice to their god, according to our sources. We do not know any more. They only reason why they haven't found us already is because our house is protected by a spell from Luna specifically for this purpose, so the Pillars are causing mass destruction outside. But they do not wish to, just comes with being a Pillar.

We finished the chanting, giving up a small part of our souls to be filled with Luna’s power. Outside is still chaos, and it only got worse when we fought the Pillars. We were severely outnumbered, but after many hours of fighting, we held ourselves fairly well.

The Pillars from Hell retreated back to their planet, failing their task, because there are no longer any human worshipers of Luna.

Dave and Kimberly were walking around the mall. Dave was on his way to buy his soon-to-be-wife a wedding ring. Kimberly councidently was buying her soon to be husband a ring. Dave's girlfriend of 9 years name was Hailey. Dave was walking to the wedding ring store and it immediately caught his eye the gorgeous ring. He got the $900 out of his sleek leather wallet he slammed it on the counter, feeling like a badass because he had it all in cash. Dave walked into the house that him and Hailey shared and heard Hailey bawling her eyes out on the bedroom floor. He ran to her in a hurry, turned out she was only crying and bawling because she had ran out of her favorite L'Oreal blush stick. Dave started thinking about how dramatic, bitchy, two faced, and honestly horrible Hailey was. Dave ran out the front door of the house. He ran straight to Kimberly's house, ran inside, slid down on one knee and said “please please be my wife.” Dave explained how he wanted to commit himself to his best friend and spend the rest of his life with her. Smack! Dave wakes up and sees kimberly standing over him. Hudson had knocked the shit out of dave for trying to marry kimberly. Kimberly didn't know who to choose, she loved Hudson but she also loved dave so much. That was that she took two sticky notes, wrote daves name on one, and wrote Hudson's name on one. Whichever one fell off of the wall would be the one to marry her. Daves name fell, KImberly got a little sad and that's when she knew that dave was the one she wanted to marry. That's what she did and dave lived happily ever after.

Something is wrong. I just woke up and something feels very wrong. My assistant comes in, “Bill! You’re on in an hour, are you ready?” she asked. That’s what it was. I have to film my show Bill Nye the Science Guy today, and I can’t remember anything.

“N-no, actually. Julie, I can’t seem to remember anything to do with science...” I said.

“Well, can’t you just read the script?”

“You don’t understand. I could read the script, sure. But I love filming my show for people, and if I can’t remember anything, I won’t love filming.” I sit in my chair, “I can’t do it today, Julie”

“Okay,” she said, “I will let the producer know.” I lean back and try to figure out what I am going to do about this, then I had an idea. “That’s it!” I thought to myself, “ I will rewatch all my episodes of my show!” I run to my closet and grab all my VHS tapes and start watching.

Hours go by. I haven’t eaten, or drank any water. If I hear the theme song for my show one more time I might throw up. I didn’t realize how annoying that was. Visions of me making elephant toothpaste and talking about atoms float through my head. I’m ready. “Julie!” I call, “Tell the producers I am ready to film.” She bursts through the door.

	“Really??”

“Yes.” I said, “I must get dressed.”

Half an hour later, Julie comes in and says, “You’re on in five.”

“Here goes nothing,” I thought to myself. I walk up to the curtains and take a deep breath. All I can hear are children yelling, “BILL! BILL! BILL!”

“Bill!” I wake up. Julie is yelling fro me. “You’re on in five!” It’s 10:25 am. It’s morning again? I remember all the science. That’s when I realized it was all a dream.

Saturday morning, I was in school playing football with my friend Jacob Kimson, and I split my biceps into two from three players tackling me from hitting the touch, and one of them literally hit my arm with a helmet, it was a nightmare. Then at the Hospital, my doctor said “Mr. Groudwalker, I’m afraid you will have to take pain medication from your excruciating split bicep for two weeks. I said “Two weeks?! I have 2 games to play how can my team play without me? I’m literally the best player of the team!`` Oh, my name is Logan Groudwalker by the way. The doctor said “They’ll be alright son, they can play without you, don’t worry about them, focus on you”. I said “What am I going to do now at school? I have to do my work with my left hand, MY LEFT HAND!”. Dad said “Logan, when I was your age son, I hit my eye really hard from Baseball, but guess what, I spent 4 weeks with only my right eye, but I kept moving forward, not backwards.” Then I said, “Dad, I didn’t realize you can succeed even if you fail at first. Thank you”. So I went to school, and my coach teacher said “Mr. Groudwalker, you can’t play until your arm has healed. I’m letting you take a long break from Football since your hurt”. Then I said, “Thanks coach, I need to wait awhile when I have a right bicep that is split in two.”. Even though we failed our destiny, we can learn from it, and succeed. Like what Walt Disney once said, “Around here However, we don’t look backwards for very long. We Keep Moving Forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we’re curious… and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” I felt Motivated for my life, and I will let go of the past, I will keep moving forward no matter if the wall of fate is blocking my road of life.

I looked down to see what I tripped over. Nothing. Was there a rock? I didn't feel anything. I bent down and took off my shoes. Then my sweaty wool socks. Rookie mistake. As my feet hit the ice cold air my heart came to a thudding stop. Everything went black. As I came back into consciousness I was covered in snow. I shook it off to discover what had made me faint. I looked down and saw them. My toes were detached. I lost them. No longer interested in making it to the top. I headed back down the mountain. Blissfully unaware of the slope that was about to bring me to my death.

These tears I shed will never go away the tears that fall, will remind me of that pain the pain of loss is what I speak of the pain that made me fall to my knees this pain is what I so despise but what can I do but fall and cry loos my way, to this never ending pain this pain of loss is what truly makes me scream this loud voice who is me will forever scream, that's why I hate to have these tears fall from my eyes this nightmare of falling tears is what I really despise, how can I stop these fallen tears. Only in dreams are we ever free, run and do as we please, it can be joyful and fill with delight, but it can also be dreadful that night, so be careful when you dream, for when night comes, no one will hear you cry, or see your fallen tears. To my knees I fall at the foot of a fresh grave, not knowing how to go on, not knowing how to continue with all my friends and family gone. I hear my brothers piano, ringing in my ears, with my loves sweet fiddle, and I cant hold back my tears. I remember her last words, that said "Carry on for me," And I know I cant give up, not this easily. And so I said goodbye to all of my fears, accept for one more night of these Fallen Tears.

It was 7:59. One more minute. I counted the till after i’ve done all of the closing duties. I let out a big sigh, I was glad to be nearly done way earlier than i had expected.
