         <description><![CDATA[<div>To create a more sustainable life, humans have created ways to convert sunlight into energy. By doing this, solar panels are made up of PVC cells which convert sunlight into energy. This gives us a renewable resources instead of non-renewable resources which is healthier for the environment. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>      I choose to have all three standards because I think each build off of each other. In my ideal classroom, I would begin to teach them about the different energy we have and how they are used. I would then give out a worksheet that shows each energy and they have to match the energy that goes with it's technology. This will be for the "identifying" part of that standard. My students will be able to identify the ways people use certain technology or tools to solve the energy crisis. In groups of three to four, I will have them create their own solar energy system. They will have to design it correctly according to my teaching and independent research.&nbsp;<br>      After creating their own energy source, they will present it to the class. When one group is done for presenting, I will allow the other students to ask questions or even challenge their models. Asking questions like, What did you put that there? or Would this model work for everyone and not just one specific house type? The presenting group will have to defend their model and why they did what they did as a group. I choose third grade for this project because I think it will be easy for them to understand. I also think they are able to get creative which will allow their brain to come up with some cool models and explanations to their actions. <br><br></div>]]></description>
