Arsenic is very well known for it's poison properties and may sometimes used for rat poison or insecticides. It is highly controlled of its use due to its risks of poisoning people and affecting other animals.

Despite how toxic Arsenic can be it's been used for medicinal applications during Victorian times when it was a popular cure-all tonic when mixed as Potassium Arsenate Dissolved Water. Today it is added to poultry feed to prevent disease and improve weight gain.

Arsenic is also used as a doping agent in semiconductors like gallium arsenide for solid-state devices where, it can also be used in bronzing pyrotechnics.

It can be also used to make special types of glass and able to even preserve wood.

Arsenic compounds can be used as pigments in paints, wallpapers and even ceramics.

It can cause fatal conditions or death if not careful with it, these are fast/irregular heartbeat, severe dizziness and fainting.

Sodium Arsenite (Na3AsO4) is a white or grayish white powder that is used in pesticide, hide preservation, dyeing and soaps.
