         <description><![CDATA[<p>We should use this as a foundation for professional training. These skills mean different things to different people.  There needs to be district-wide training (perhaps virtually using the Vector training platform).  </p><p>For instance, "Emotionally intelligent" includes four different skills, so which are we wanting to demonstrate?  Or do we want to illustrate them all?  Additionally, when speaking to the term "emotional intelligence", we're assuming that staff knows what it means to be "emotionally intelligent".  </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>I think that as a support to the school leaders, specific talking points and reflections should be developed to be rolled out during the whole school year. For example, Aug September, the focus could be on the Social Skills quadrant since the first few weeks of school are all about establishing relationships with scholars. Specific guidance should be provided (such as examples and non examples) since some educators may think they are culturally responsive and they are, in fact, not. October could focus on the Teaching, Learning &amp; Development skills quadrant.</p>]]></description>
