Algo que siempre nos dijo es que le echemos ganas y que hacemos algo en la vida. Cada año que iba a verlo, siempre le gustaba como decía las tortillas, aunque no era lo mejor, pero se lo comí porque los hice con amor. Antes que falleció. Me recuerdo que mi hijo una vez “hija échale ganas supérate” “y la coca”.

A mi papa que se me fue temprano cuando tenia 15 anos.

Mi favorito recuerdo de mi papa es cuando el me enseno a cocinar. Mi papa era un cocinero, y a el le gustaba cocinar, siempre cocinaba a la familia, y estab bien rico todo lo que el hizo. El me enseno como cociner cosas como pozole, tacos dorados, al pastor, y gracias a el aunque no esta, simepre lo recuerdo cuando hago comida todo los dias y viene la familia a comer.

I would like to share a loved one which is my mom , she past away when I was in 4th grade, I don’t remember a lot but she is the person who put me and my brother in sports she would always show up and take us to our games and always cheered us on no matter what . Even tho she was sick she still showed up and never missed a game .Some things she like was subway , she loved tweety bird and she would always eat the Ferrero Rocher

I’d love to share my madrina Lily, the most sweetest and loving person. She was best friends with my mom, as my sister and I are best friends with her kids. She would always treat us like her very own and had the most beautiful and infectious smile. My favorite memory will forever be the days we would go over to her house and she and my mom would cook the most delicious foods for us. I like to think that was her love language. I miss and love her more and more everyday.

I would like to share my beautiful grandma. She was an amazing woman who really cared about her family. She was always very happy and tried her best to make everyone else happy too. My favorite memory with her was actually when she first arrived to the US. She arrived in a beautiful black dress and was very excited to see us. Me and my family will forever miss her and she will always be loved!

To KayKay: you were taken from us at such a young age. You were on the path to success with your new job, new car, and a 6 month old baby. You were the greatest friend i could have. Always had my back and supported me. With out KayKay i would not have broken out of my comfort zone, pursued photography, and establish myself in the nightlife. Her passing was hard but i knew she wouldn’t want me to sit around in grief. Because of her I returned to finish my degree, built up as a concert photographer and continue to do what I can to follow the path of success she left. I am forever grateful for her. Our little raccoon squad is missing its leader, but I am blessed she brought to this world little Maxi to remind us of her.

I will be talking about my grandparents. Something that we do is put some marigolds, flowers, and candles for them. I didn't get to meet them, but my mom always talked about them. She would tell us how they were, how kind they were, and what they did as a family. I wish that I had met them. Even though I didn't get to meet them, I love them so much and I think about them every time.

There is more than 1 person who I would wish to honor including a lot of my uncles who have passed. I remember one of my uncles, Lupe, was just good at everything he did I was 5-6 and I remember I had a wasnted a slingshot so he made me one outhimslef. H eliterally gralooked for a piece of wood and made me a slingshot out of all the toys I had I think that was the one that I that had the most value to me I ended up losing and found it months later but it had been chewed on by my dogs so I had to throw it away however I was able to say thanks before he passed.
