These are all events that normally take place throughout the year in my city's stadium. Currently it's under construction and I have noticed a few workers without a mask. However, that's not an uncommon sight around here. It was originally built in 1936 as the high school. I never paid much attention to the outside of the building, and I only ever came to it a night for basketball games and practices when I was younger. I've now noticed the age in the brick and the towering oaks in front of the building. Most of the buildings are considered historic and the outsides of them haven't been touched. It's usually quiet here and today is no different. There's festivals and parades here every year that bring almost the whole town together. It's strange knowing that this year these events most likely will not take place. I was enjoying the quietness when the sound of a large train horn startled me.
