The point of the story is to tell you about how astronauts live in space and survive. They do this by cleaning their kitchen,bringing lots of food into space,and before they leave for takeoff they check the space ship for mice so that they don't get into their food. Sometimes they have to stay in space for weeks at a time so they have to keep their stuff clean so that they stay healthy. There's certain things that they have to clean like trays and their whole kitchen. Did you know that their stove in space can get up to around 170 degrees Fahrenheit. the astronauts bring different kinds of food into space they bring tubes of food  and packets of food. there's stuff like meat,hamburgers,cereal,fruits,vegetables and more that they bring into space.
