Experimental Psychology because it explores the different perspectives of the human behavior and how it can be used in our daily basis as a human being And also to share the wide variety of experimental Psychology that has been conducted few decades ago

I find every Psychology subject interesting, however, I am thrilled that we will be taking "Cognitive Psychology" for our first semester of this AY. Mainly because it introduces mental processes and tackles the different approaches in studying Cognitive Psychology deeper that will expand my perspective with Psychology.

I love Theories of Personality because we can learn about how one's personality works from the viewpoints of famous names in Psychology, such as Sigmund Freud, Alfred Adler, Rollo May, and more. It also helps broaden our understanding of our character and behavior, which can help us in decision-making, forming healthy relationships, and becoming the best version of ourselves.

Even though I haven't taken the subject officially, Theories of Personality is the subject for our 1st semester in A.Y. 2025-2026 that piqued my interest as we slightly tackled some of the theories during our Introduction to Psychology. I want to unravel and understand more the personality theories—how personality forms, changes, and impacts of behavior. I believe understanding these theories will provide a valuable insight and deepen my knowledge as to why people act the way they act.

My goal this AY is to socialize more and judge less, which our "Psych week" can provide. With our Psych week, it's not just about socializing, it can be deeper than that where all psychmates are building a bond and having fun. It is a great event to have a good time while learning.

My favorite psychology subject even though I haven’t taken it yet is Developmental Psychology because as a new student of psychology one of the main reason why I chose this course is because I want to know and to learn how does different human can adapt, grow, or undergo changes even though we have a different life experiences. Most importantly, according to the articles I read, Developmental Psychology is also about thinking, communicating and how to improve our emotions.

As a freshman psychology student i'm looking forward on this AY 2025-2026 journey is I can be able to understand and know the different human nature of people and also I can be able to help individuals to understand themselves. One of the subjects that I am looking forward to this academic year is Theories of Personality. I'm expecting to enjoy this subject and am excited to learn about the layers surrounding the term "personality." I believe that personality is the first thing we "see" in somebody, whether it is through clothing, body language, the way we speak, or even just from the things a person owns, it reflects our personality. Thus, I cannot wait to learn more about personalities and to learn more about myself through this subject.

Aside from the major subjects we are about to take, what I'm looking forward to most is the experience that this new Academic Year is about to offer. Since I was a freshman last year, I was mostly busy adjusting and adapting to a new environment. This year, I want to ease into and enjoy the process more. I'm looking forward to attending events and getting to know my peers on another level this year.

I am particularly interested in topics related to psychology and human behavior

Understanding how individuals think,feel and make decisions

I believe that gaining insight into these areas will help me become more empathetic , open minded and better equipped to connect with others
