In all my years of school I have defiantly seen this in the classroom, especially in my High School. I picked this because there are so many different gender stereotypes out there for boys and girls, and we must stop grouping our students into these categories. Teachers need to teach all students and encourage all students the same way and not lead them to liking something because their overall gender does, or leading them away from something they like because their gender usually does not do that. I believe thing would get better if we all talked about it and really discussed how it affects people.
