Who are they to us? What is their role in the world? Are they weak and powerless? That’s what some people say. A woman is not just a woman, and a mother is not just a mother. They are the ones we always need. If we look around, wherever we are in the world, we need people like them. Relationships can bring us happiness, but what if instead of joy, they bring us pain and suffering? As a woman and a student, I will not allow myself to be oppressed. Gaining knowledge about RA 9262 or the Violence Against Women and Children Act is crucial because I have learned a lot, and I am now better equipped to fight when the time comes.
