You can use any method or operation to reinforce fact fluency.
  • Multiplication War with a deck of cards (see image): Divide deck of cards (Ace-10) evenly between players.  Each player turns over 2 cards and multiplies the numbers.  The player with the highest product wins and gets the cards turned over by all players.  The player with the most cards at the end of the game wins!

  • Multiplication War with Dominoes: Place all dominoes face down in middle of table.  Each player turns over 1 domino and multiplies the 2 sides.  The player with the highest product wins and gets the dominoes turned over by all players that round.  The player with the most dominoes at the end of the game wins!

  • Multiplication Memory: Write multiplication cards on notecards and the products on another set of notecards.  Mix up the problems and products in rows face down.  Take turns flipping 2 cards to try to make a match.  The player with the most matches wins!

  • Kaboom! : Write multiplication problems on popsicle sticks.  On 3 popsicle sticks write: Kaboom!  Place all popsicle sticks with the writing down in a cup.  Take turns pulling out popsicle sticks and solving the multiplication problem.  How many problems can you solve before you get a Kaboom!?  Try it again and see it you can beat your score!
