What movement did you choose? Tuileries
What is the theme/mood of the movement? (Dark, Ominous, Playful, Energetic, etc) - Energetic and Playful.
How does Mussorgsky represent the visual artwork shown through his music? - His music being very peaceful , calm , and playfulness represents how he feels about that picture .
What dynamic(s) do you hear? (piano, mezzo-piano, mezzo-forte, forte) - i hear mezzo forte and piano
Do the dynamics change over time? How? They change at first it’s piano than deeper into the song it goes to mezzo forte
Is the piece in MAJOR or Minor? It’s Major
Does that change throughout the piece? No, i think it stays major the whole time
Does the melody have a wide or narrow range? it has a narrow range because the notes are close together
Is it mostly Conjunct (stepwise) or Disjunct (jumps around)? i think it’s disjunct because the notes bounce around a lot
What is the meter (time signature) of the piece? We’re in 4 4 time.
Does that change or stay the same? the whole thing stay in 4 4th
How could you describe the piece from start to finish (ABA, Verse/Chorus, etc)? I think it’s ABA because at first the song plays it part than it changes in the middle and then goes straight back to how it was before.
Are any sections repeated/sound like things you heard earlier? yes

What is being expressed in the artwork? The love i have for my baby sister
What is the mood of the piece? What informs your interpretation? The mood of the piece is sister hood and growing a bond with her , why ? Because she’s still at a young age and i want to show her right from wrong now so she knows what to do when she gets older.
What might the artwork sound like musically? (Ex-Dark timbres, fast tempo, lots of dynamic changes). I think a fast temp and a lot of dynamic changes .
