He influenced Galileo Galilei, Issac Newton, Johannes Kepler, and many other astronomers. He took studies of the geocentric theory, which stated that because of God the Earth was created in the center of the solar system, and proved it wrong by proposing the heliocentric theory. The heliocentric theory states that the sun is in the center of the solar system instead, people refused to believe this, saying that refusing the Christian belief was insulting the church. Later, Johannes Kepler took his studies and proved them to be right.
