Additionally, I liken the similarities of these flower heads to humans due to their cycles of growth and development, with each stage representing a different phase of life. They start as a seed, then grow into a sprout, a bud, and eventually bloom into a full-grown flower. Similarly, humans go through stages of life, from infancy to childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and old age. 

Furthermore, flower heads rely on certain environmental factors to thrive. They need adequate sunlight, water, and nutrients to grow and flourish, just as humans require a healthy environment, nourishing food, and social connections to maintain their physical and mental health.

My artwork illustrates the many similarites between a flower head and human, particularly the different stages of life. In this case, my life - I want to show my development, from my childhood years up til my teenage years like now in secondary school.

Flowers are often used as a metaphor for personal growth and development. The way a flower grows from a small seed to a beautiful bloom is similar to how people grow and develop over time. 

Through my work I want to show how my ups and downs, my experiences are like flower heads. The struggles I've faced through my childhood years up til my teenage years like now in secondary school. the various things that Ive had to go through. i want to represent these hardships through the hard work the flower had and the process the flower has of becoming a full bloom.

the interplay between sun and shadow is a interesting subject as there are many different ways to interpret it. it allows many artists to explore the dynamic relationship between light and darkness and how these may shape our perception of the world around us. 

the sun represents light and warmth, while shadow represents darkness and coolness. However, in art, these two opposing forces come together to create a visual interplay that can be both striking and profound.

my perception of sun and shadow is always being behind someone. For me, i always feel like i am never able to be better or even like my sister. always falling behind her on everything such as sports, studies and all that you can think of, even hight. every thing that she does like acing a test would be praised by my parents and while i can’t ace a subject, when i show my artworks to my dad, he says that studies is more important and i should be more like my sister and ace subjects and not draw. that really dragged me down and made me feel as though i would never be like my sister and because i am not like my sister, i would never be appreciated by my parents. 

In conclusion, the relationship between sun and shadow has been a subject of fascination for artists throughout history. Whether capturing the way that light falls across a subject's face, or exploring the way that light and shadow interact to create sculptural forms, artists have found endless inspiration in this fundamental interplay of opposing forces. By paying close attention to the way that sunlight and shadow interact with their subjects, artists are able to create works of art that are both beautiful and profound.

When I was about 7 years old, I begin to notice an old and frail shoemaker opposite the street. She was never there at that particular spot before those years. She would begin her day as early as 8am and end her day by noon, sitting on a old, rattan stool. She looked worn out, as if se never slept the night before and her wrinkles were so obvious from far. Definitely not in her best-dressed each day.

My mother started to send heaps of different kinds of shoes to be repaired by her and would always bring me along. I never turn down those moments because I found myself being curious behind the life of the shoemaker. 

"Who is this shoemaker as a person? Why is she working so hard? Why is she looking worn out despite only being at that spot, working for only a few hours a day? Doesn't she have children to support her?"
 
Soon after, I slowly stopped going to the place where her miniature workshop would be as I was overwhelmed with school work and other things.

After Covid-19 cases died down, I went back to the place where her workshop would be but she was gone. Everytime I went back, she was not there.

I would keep asking myself everytime I walked past her usual spot: "Where is she? What happened to her? Did she pass on? What about her business?"

Until this very day, I still have no clue about what happened to her or her whereabouts.

 At the time I did not really think too much about time, but now I realise that time is moving too fast, modernisation is taking away all traditions and cultures by wearing them out, which were part my childhood.
