         <description><![CDATA[<p><b>Around 1800 B.C.E</b>- Abraham and his family left Mesopotamia and headed their way towards Canaan under the command of their one true god, Yahweh</p><p><b>1650 B.C.E</b>- The descendants of Abraham moved to Egypt. They were given places of honor, but later on they were forced into slavery.</p><p><b>1300 between 1200 B.C.E</b>- The time period when the Isrealites fled Egypt. The Jews would call this event, "the Exodus."  The escape was led by a, Egyptian raised- Israelite born, Moses. Around that same time period Moses went on top of Mount Sinai to pray and came back with the ten commandments. These "laws' united the Israelites to Yahweh.</p><p><b>1020 to 922 B.C.E</b>-  The Israelites united under three able kings and created a new kingdom called Israel.</p>]]></description>
