I found there was a lot of bass frequencies making the track sound muddy so I took out a lot of bass so that it wouldn’t mess up the higher frequencies.

I also added 3 more harmonic melodies to give the track a wider melodic range. The instruments I used were the Yamaha piano and 2 steel bells panned towards the left and right side. For the drum kits I added 4 drumkit  instruments which were the shackers, hi hats, snares and kicks. The shakers give the track a smooth sound as it is played softly at a repetitive rate. The snares add dynamics to the track as it sets the tone giving it the unique sofisrucated gangster sound. The kicks give the track more rhythm as it compliments the bass guitars. The 6th instrument added to the track was the sub bass which stands out from all the instruments being played due to the fact that the pitch of the sub bass is much lower than all the other instruments. The sub bass adds a lot of groove to the track as it plays as a main and counter bass based on the chordal pattern being used.
