The Idea of shuffling through the pandemic. Trying to figure out what we want to listen to, and what we don’t , intrigues me.

Often the media has drowned our happy days, taken away our freedom and offered up no positive morsel of news. 

Music was my solace. 

As were the trends, the fads and crazes that came with the start of the pandemic. 

I baked the banana bread. I drank the whipped coffee. And I ran that 5km. 

With this piece I wanted to combine all those elements with music & art to create something current, fun & relatable. 

I could have over complicated the details & graphics. I included the sample video so you could see how they all work together as a gif/video. With this project of mine, there are infinite possibilities for furthering the renditions & evolving with the next today. 

After looking at what’s available on MakersPlace, and indeed on other similar platforms, I believe my work would do well in this style of environment. 

My work is different to what’s currently out there, in the digital sphere of NFTs. I’d love to see how my work would interact with that world.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for taking the time to explore and consider my work for this wonderfully unique platform. It is so inspiring that especially today, digital art has it’s own realm of possibilities.

Something soothing to the eyes. Something that could make someone stop scrolling and think ‘hmm #relatablecontent’, or ‘yaassss I want to find my old iPod or Nintendo and just chill to some music”. 

By using the iPod Nano as the information device in these images, I wanted to bring in something from the good old days.

Before “The Virus” invaded the planet. Before our lives turned upside down. Back to when we could hug our friends and masks were just for Halloween. 

Themed on objects, trends, people and words that have rotated around us Since the start of this global crisis. I tried to make the imagery and logos fun but still relating to the titles and band names I chose.
