         <description><![CDATA[<div>This privacy notice sets out how The King’s Fund will collect and use your personal data during this project, and your rights in relation to that personal data. We are based at the following address:&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>The King’s Fund, 11-13 Cavendish Square, London W1G 0AN&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>For the purposes of this project The King’s Fund will be controllers of your personal data. Your personal data will be processed as set out in this privacy notice.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Why are we processing your personal data?</strong></div><div>The King’s Fund is conducting a simple experiment to test its networks into and across the not-for-profit sector, and to crowdsource questions from the leaders of organisations in these networks. Our intention is to use these questions to create a prototype digital resource that:</div><div>&nbsp;</div><ul><li>Showcases a meaningful dialogue between leaders in the not-for-profit sector.</li><li>Creates a small piece of practice based research that tests new practices of engaging, learning and consulting.&nbsp;</li><li>Supports The King’s Fund to develop support to the sector through a meaningful partnership with organisations and leaders.&nbsp;</li></ul><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>What are the data processing activities and what is our legal basis for processing your personal data?</strong></div><div>The King’s Fund as data controller will rely&nbsp; on its legitimate interests&nbsp; as its legal basis for processing under GDPR article 6(1)(f). In particular, The King’s Fund will invite participation in a simple online survey from its existing not-for-profit networks, inviting recipients to then also share the survey with one other local not-for-profit leader.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>The King’s Fund may also need to process your personal data for compliance with a legal obligation, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>What personal data will be processed?</strong><br>The survey will collect respondents…</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>•&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Name</div><div>•&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Organisation</div><div>•&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Location (at city/county level)</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Who are the recipients of my personal data?</strong></div><div>The King’s Fund will be collecting the data for thematic analysis, and it will not be shared with any third-party for processing.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>The King’s Fund will use <a href="https://www.mentimeter.com/">Mentimeter</a> to collect the data only.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Will my data be transferred or processed outside the European Economic Area (EEA)?</strong></div><div>As a matter of course, we do not transfer your personal data outside the EEA. Where we do carry out any such transfers, in order to ensure that your personal data continues to have adequate protection, it will only be transferred on one of the following grounds:&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><ul><li>The country or territory to which the transfer is made ensures an adequate level of protection for personal data;</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>The King’s Fund and the recipient of the personal data outside the EEA have signed a form of model data protection clauses (standard contractual clauses) approved by the European Commission (and/or adopted by the UK Secretary of State); or</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>There exists another situation where the transfer is permitted under applicable law (for example, where we have your explicit consent to make the transfer).</li></ul><div><br></div><div>You can obtain more details of the protection given to your personal data when it is transferred outside the EEA by contacting us using the details set out below.<br><br></div><div><strong>How long will you keep my personal data?</strong></div><div>The King’s Fund will keep the data generated by the survey for no more than three months from the closing date of the survey (March 2023).</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>What are my rights?</strong></div><div>Under data protection legislation you have a number of rights including the right of access; a right to rectify and erase personal data we hold about you; the right to restrict or object to our processing; the right to data portability; and the right to lodge a complaint with the ICO.
