Although we are in the number of female researchers in 4th place in Europe, the position of female scientists is not perfect.
Our first female scientist was Mileva Marić Einstein. Although there is no evidence that Mileva Maric worked with her husband on projects that were later brought him the Nobel Prize, the widespread opinion is that Mileva made a significant contribution to Einstein's discoveries.
