We wear bright clothing, anything black and dull is considered symbols of sadness and unluckiness. Many things we do that day is for good luck. Sweeping the house clean, wearing new clothes, honoring ancestors at temples, giving red envelopes filled with money to family members, and much more. I enjoy going to family reunions each year to celebrate.
