What we also learned that it was located in Arkansas. Also, it was opened in October 6,1942 and it was closed on June 30,1944. I learned that the people were not tortured but they only got to bring a brief case. Also they got 300 and above dollars when they got out, but it wasn't enough to afford a house and a lot of people were homeless. And the main reason why they got in this camp was because the Japanese droped a bomb in pearl harbor and the u.s didn't trust people that were Japanese because the u.s didn't want any spy's spying on the u.s and that's why we put the Japanese in the camps.
