         <description><![CDATA[<p>Ruchie B</p><p>Within the secondary school I work in there is a 3 tier approach to supporting students through GCSEs.</p><p>Tier 1 - regular exam style tests given to all students. </p><p>Tier 2 - Based on how students are performing, a percentage of students will then be assessed for Exam Access Arrangements such as a scribe, reader or extra time.</p><p>Tier 3 - Based on a variety of assessments, a few students will be evaluated whether they should remain in the standard GCSE class or whether they should take the Functional skills level exam.</p>]]></description>
