Everyone had a great idea and had different stuff that they wanted to base their story off on but one particular thing stood out for the most of us which is the 'big iron cage'. We all try to come up with an idea that signifies the idea of the cage itslef and our now director came up with the idea of Witches and Witch Hunters. It stemmed from the Salem witch trials which were enlightened as soon as she saw the cage. They reminded her of the Victorian era but also gave a thought of an ancestoral feeling from the Withces and the Hunters which is what stemmed the idea of the hunters being adoment about having their heir comeplete their line. so that was basically why we went use Withces and Witch Hunters.

well after our trip to JAT, we had talked about who wanted to be who, charater wise, and everyone had different characters that they wanted to be so everyone was given those role. We then decided and who can who what like tech, props, custome etc, and so we got that sorted out first before we did anything else. We already had a rough idea of how we wanted it to go and so we basically focused on getting a fully base line sotry. For the first 2 weeks we were kind of in a pickle as some of us would be off and we wouldn't be able to do anything and everyone was just stressing about it to the point that one of us had snapped at someone before the class started but the lecturer talked to that person and the whole situation got sorted out and only then we're we able to be one as a team and that's when we started to get things done fully and we were able to finish our script like 2 weeks before our performance which I think is good, script wise anyway. As for the blocking, the idea that we had has been working which is imrpovise the scenes a few times and whatever sounds right and looks proper for that character we would keep. We did this technique a few times and we were able to do at least 3/4 scenes without having any trouble. We now only need 2 scenes that needs to be blocked which I think would take more time than the other scenes because those two scenes that we're missing is our big finale. For the first two weeks I was literally filled with anxiety, I think everyone was, and I genuinely thought that we wouldn't be able to finish the whole thing not because we can't but because of the disagreements but we were able to fix those problems through talking and working as a team which made all of us ease up a little, anxiety wise. I am not confident that we would have enought time to block those 2 scenes with a little extra time in our hand to refined those scenes.
On our last 2 weeks, rehearsal was great and had a little to no worries. We basically just focused on refining our scenes and making a little changes. We also decided to really work as a team which mean trying to not have any arguments, which only happened once. We also limited out comfort breaks just to really focus on making the scenes better than they were before which really helped us a lot because I didn’t realise how long we would go for comfort break sometimes. We only had a conversation about communication because everyone lacked it, including me, which I think makes some people stressed which is understandable but having to work on our communication skills really help me realise how big of a part it is during projects. We also started doing our prompt books and padlets during times when we’re not rehearsing or while we’re eating which helped a lot because you have people you can easily talk to when you have questions that needs answers. And last but not the last is our day of performance where everyone just became a support stool for everyone because everyone’s just hyping other people up which eased up the tension leading us to a smoother performance.

Reflections on the CRP process.

Well first we were a group where some people didn't get along very well and I thought that was gonna be a really big problem but I under estimate everyone thinking that hey might not be mature enough to deal with it but I realised that I judged them a little too early as we only had a few hiccups but we were able to do that through talking to one another and being professional, keeping their outside life once they enter the space where we work as a group. Everyone is working hard doing their jobs within the production and generally everyone's just trying their best to finish this production and pass the course.

During our final 2 weeks of rehearsal, there were less arguements and disagreements because we have now full realised that we were running on a small time scale and every other group is doing their best and we didn't wanna be behind so we got our act together and put aside everything so we can finally start fully rehearsing everything without having anny troubles but that doesn't mean that there weren't any incidents. 3 or 4 days before our final performance someone had snapped again which was understandable because everyone was really tired and just want to go to bed but thankfully it didn't lead to a bigger problem because one of them decided to just ignore it and so we moved on and finised our rehearsal we did have to take a comfort break after that because it was unexpected considering that we were going so well but they did apologized so everyting was sorted and we just continued on rehearsing until it was tme to go.

Research and reflections on your role within the company.

My role within the company is Voice. I work with tone which is basically how a sentenced should sound, it's also covers the intonation which is how someone's voice rises and falls as they are speaking. Inflection is also one of them where there's a various changes in ones voice when speaking. This also includes tone, pace and pitch which is an addition to the volume level at which someone speaks. These are basically what I need to look out for and it helps a ton not just to them but also to me because I'm also still working on them. I'm not gonna lie, I haven't really done that much work with the voice but now that we have a fully written script I think I would be able to work more on it, for me and for the people within the company.
