The Literacy Test was one of those restrictions and this made it so that Blacks could not vote unless they passed the test. This test was so hard that 95% of white people didn't even know the answers to them. The second one is called the grandfather clause, this was were if any former slaves had a grandparent or grandfather that voted before the 1866 or 1865, the former black could be able to vote. The third and final one was called Poll tax and this was were you had to pay money to vote before you do the Literacy Test.

The first amendment out of the 3 was called the 13th amendment and this amendments made the slaves free for the longest time. The 14th amendment made the southern states actually respect the former slaves newly found rights. The 15th amendment was made so that anyone, even another country, if you are a citizen of the United States you can vote.

The concept of Sharecropping is that Black people would force labor on their behalf and then they would get paid but they would pay most of the money they got to the person who hired them and then they would have to work for another year creating cycle of poverty that you can't easily escape. Black codes were made so the states that the freedmen's rights are fully secured.
