    Promo Trailer: A short documentary styled short, with emphasis on the fun and active aspects of the festival, to rouse support and get people excited for it. I’ve worked on a few such promos (I’ll upload one to show you guys when I find it, it’s somewhere on my old hard-drive) but it’s very much the style I wish to duplicate here - bright, poppy music, colourful, exciting imagery, whilst still being informative with brief interviews with key personal to target teachers, educator and families. These would primarily be shown in schools and to families, with some distribution over major social networks such Facebook, but mostly over decimated video-sharing sites such as YouTube and Vimeo as there is a level of legitimacy I wish to accomplish with this promo. In addition to this, I'll be collaborating with Matt Goddard on the broadcast video segment, assisting with production. 

    Short Instagram Videos: These would highlight key aspects of the festival to invite people in, and be short enough to appeal to millennials’ short attention spans. If you’ve liked any movie pages on Facebook or Instagram, you know the platform I’m talking about - short, 8-10 second promos, giving a condensed but exciting look at the activities we have to offer. They would follow a similar style as the promo trailer: exciting and fun, but mostly targeted towards kids and not much overly informative. These would then be distributed across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and whatever else kids these days are using, idk.  

    Audio:
    Radio ads distributed across online platforms - Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora. Also across actual radio stations, such as 92.9, Nova, and 98.5. Again, remaining consistent with tone, they should be bright, poppy, etc. 

    Images/ Poster: 
    A heavy emphasis should be placed upon this. Posters, images, etc can be distributed across all of the primary social media platforms - Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat. As it so happens, these platforms essentially cater for visual content. Saturated, bright images of fun, excitement, etc, will really create interest of our project.

We're doing this to to make all aspects of the project accessible and available to the larger community, to bring back as much of that social inclusion as we can. But, how are we going to do this? 

    Software: The best thing about live-streaming today is that it is so much simpler. High-end software and equipment has become free and open source. As such, we'll be utilising OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) to facilitate our live-stream process. 

    Other Equipment: 
    Cameras are an obvious factor into our livestreaming process. We'll likely be using DSLR Cameras, as they provide high-quality video whilst being at an affordable cost. This trend of using affordable yet high quality equipment will continue into the selection of lenses, which will likely be Rokinon telephoto lenses. Telephoto lenses, usually between 85mm - 200mm have been selected as the camera will be quite far away from the activity as to not interfere, but the choice of lenses will make the action seem close. GoPro cameras will be used to supplement these angles, by being placed close to the action, yet are small enough to not get in the way, and can provide interesting angles of coverage. Audio will be processed and transferred through ZOOM recorders. 

    All of this information will be processed through the OBS software, and streamed through YouTube.

The main event would be a screening of Hunt for the Wilderpeople, a recent movie that won both critical and commercial success when it released last year.
