I usually spend my free time with my best friend. We enjoy the whole day hanging out and share our problems together. Unfortunately, the spread of the pandemic has made it hard to go out so I have to change my hobby. I spent most of my time at home and I found that reading book is an incredible way to keep balance and adjust my emotion as well. I have read the healing book named “Nếu bạn chưa ổn tôi xin gửi bạn một cái ôm” written by several authors. This Ego Psychology book helps you understand life and become the best version of yourself. Reading four main chapters of this book will not only help you understand more about yourself but answer your questions like who you are, where you came from and where you are going to or what problems are you having also. I’m absolutely deeply impressed with the quote “Maturity is not the beginning of anxiety and suffering. Resistance and procrastination are the things we need to condemn. Only trying to overcome the future fear and balancing between work and rest will help you be happier with your work and enjoy your life.”

Experience in teaching online during the pandemic

The breaking out of Covid 19 as the worldwide pandemic has caused multi-difficulties in all aspects of our life and education is not an exception. Teaching online has never been a simple mission for both teachers and learners. Being a co-teacher with the responsible to connect and support foreign teacher and students, I found it hard to deal with this task. As the first days of school year, I could not grasp the students’ strength, weakness or their learning goal as I’ve just seen them via a computer screen. Moreover, Internet connection has been a big barrier that has prevented both students from acquiring knowledge and led to students’ lacking enthusiastic at times.
When these problems occur, I have to remind myself to be calm and think positively at first. Then, building a good relationship with the homeroom teacher is the prior idea in my mind since the homeroom teachers are the ones who keep contact with students more regularly and I can receive some students’ personal information and support from the homeroom teachers as well. In addition, I’ve recommended my foreign teacher to apply more learning online apps like Kahoot, Quizizz or videos from Youtube, which will support teaching process by catching students’ attention and enhancing their motivation in engaging in classroom activities.
