Maybe with a five day course in the future you can do a portion on the first day where we all share one of the social issues we chose for that pre-assignment and then be asked to come up with a social enterprise for that issue and briefly explain the idea to the class (specifics wouldn't be necessary) on the second day. This way the whole class could learn more about different social issues while also hearing different takes/perspectives on how our peers think they can be solved. And even better, once students learn about the steps you taught us on how to create effective social enterprises, you can ask them to compare their thought process and method of creating a solution for the issue they chose to how it should really be done. I know for me, learning to really focus on all aspects the social issue/specific problem we worked on and what the impacted group needs was really beneficial.
