When her first love ( luv) is about to marry someone else( her sister who is secretly a witch) ( the golden child) , the whole party is poisoned, by poison (fate).She turns in to stone for the safety of the rest of them. After Returning to normal, she then turns to the Prince of Hearts( my fav character btw) —Jacks—for help. But Jacks isn't your typical fairy-tale prince. He's charming, dangerous( beware) , and definitely not trustworthy. The deal they make sets off a chain of magical events that lead Evangeline into the heart of the North—a world full of ancient curses, deadly legends, and snow-covered castles.✨

One of the most enchanting things about this book is the atmosphere. Stephanie Garber describes the North like a dreamy, frost-covered wonderland, where magic lingers in the air and anything seems possible. The halls of Valenda’s castles sparkle like frozen stars, and enchanted drinks can change your fate. Garber’s writing is filled with beautiful, almost haunting descriptions that make you feel like you're walking through a living fairy tale—one that's both beautiful and a little bit scary.

And then there's Jacks. He's a Fate, not fully human, and definitely not the kind of hero you'd want to trust. But that's what makes him so fascinating. He’s moody, mysterious, and has this heartbreakingly tragic edge. You’re never quite sure if he’s helping Evangeline or setting her up to fall. The tension between them keeps the story thrilling and full of surprises.(Dont forget the apples pls) 😅HE IS OBSESSED WITH APPLES( SPOILERS) 🍎

Once Upon a Broken Heart is a perfect read for fans of magical worlds, mysterious characters, and stories that blur the line between love and danger. It’s a book where even broken hearts might still have a little magic left in them.

I fully recommend to read the rest of the series as well ( it's a trilogy)

This book is a collection of short and simple stories written by Sudha Murty. The title story is about a young girl who teaches her grandmother to read, even though the grandmother is 62 years old. It shows that learning has no age.

All the stories in the book teach us good values like honesty, kindness, and respect. The language is easy to understand, and the stories are very interesting. I liked how the author used real-life events to teach life lessons.

My favorite part was seeing how the grandmother worked hard to learn. This book made me feel happy and inspired.

The novel is a classic whodunit, with plenty of twists and turns as Poirot investigates the various residents of Woodleigh Common. The atmosphere is thick with suspicion as Poirot tries to piece together the truth behind Joyce's death and the claim of a past murder.

While some find the pacing a bit slow in the middle, the ending delivers a satisfying conclusion, with Poirot expertly revealing the killer's identity and motivations. Although the book is not as overtly scary as some might expect from a Halloween-themed title, it offers a compelling mystery with memorable characters. It's a solid addition to Christie's Poirot canon and a good choice for those who enjoy a classic, clever mystery.

Charlotte's selfless acts and Wilbur’s innocence create a story that is both joyful and bittersweet. The writing is gentle and lyrical, making it accessible for young readers while still being profound enough for older ones.

The book also subtly touches on themes like life and death, change, and growing up—all through the lens of barnyard animals. It teaches valuable life lessons without ever feeling too heavy.
