Before started  doing my job I needed to scan my punch card and changed my clothes that they provided everyday. First, I have been introduced to the worker at the kitchen. Not all of the workers but only certain of them. I have been teach about what should I do. I did not allowed to cooked but I worked as a kitchen helper. For this first day in the Western Palace Kitchen , I have only been talked about the rules in the kitchen such as the clothes that I need to use, the place that I cannot enter dan procedure in the kitchen (cannot just take the food and eat). There was a chief that will handle for all of the activities in the kitchen. He monitors everything happens in the kitchenSo, at the first day of siep, I just exposed to the worked that I need to do for tomorrow. Then, I helped in preparing ingredient that need be used. I’m only doing the easy works such as peeled off the potato, ginger, onion and else. I did cut the chicken, cut and washed the vegetables and so on. The waiter and waitress will put the used plate, bowl, blab la bla in a trolley. There are four trolley and will be filled changed. As one trolley full already, then they  put it at another trolley. My job was take the trolley then bring it to the dishes side. Then I organised it into categories and size . There was a desk provided to do the accounting task. As the account things of the western palace restaurants a little bit privacy then they do not allowed me to do many job at that place . then what I done was asked and taking the coupon from the customer. Then ask the waitress or waiter to show the table for them. As if they do not have the coupon they will need to paid first as they were walk in customers. Then, as usual I recorded it in the document that they account department provided. Then, after I have done I will start to checking all of the dining table was on perfect setting . The plate, forks, knife, napkins and others as on it place. As I came to worked on 7.00 am everyday I started just to make sure everything was on the perfect place . The customers would come started at eight morning as to have the breakfast buffet. The workers from the kitchen have to make sure that all the food are enough already before the customer come. Then as the customer started came I greet them and showed the table to them. They took the food and eat . I need to make sure that theirs table was not full with unused plate or already finished food. Then as the customers came I have done also the jobs as the yesterday job such as clean the table, put the table cloths and all the setting that need to put on the table. Others than that tasks, I have done cleaning the glass door, sweeping the floor, filled up the drinks , clean the waitress station . There was 3 waiters and waitresses station. I have to make sure that on every station there was enough things there. I be the waitress and done the usual tasks that I need to done. I have done with the setting and cleaning the dining table . I have also cleaned the glass door and sweating the floor. In addition, because it Saturday, this restaurant have a lunch buffet. So, we only have one hours and a half to prepared for the lunch buffet from the breakfast buffet. As the setting for lunch buffet was a little bit different from the breakfast buffet, then I changed the setting . For lunch buffet, mostly the customers already make a bookings and sometime just walk in. The lunch start at 11.30 morning then as customers came I asked if they need plain or warm drinks.
