Maybe the QR code we've been using. Depending on how much technology access you have - if y'all were reading a book or watching a play as a class you could use the QR codes to get back to where you left off really fast? You could also maybe use the concept map idea as well. They could use the concept map to decribe certain things in a book or to compare two different books!

I think something fun to use in an English classroom would be audio readings! Students often struggle when reading aloud in front of others, so finding the audio book to whatever book you are reading would be good!

For an English classroom, audiobooks would be a helpful tool for the classroom for students who may have struggles with reading just straight from a book. Audios help students retain and remember information so they can use it later.

A good technology source for an English Classroom is simply just a laptop or desktop with speakers and an overhead projector. These come in handy when listening to a story being read out loud as a class. It changes it up than simply always silently reading, or the teacher reading. Also when it comes to units about plays, it is beneficial to watch the plays after reading them, and this technology would allow you to do so.
