Principle of Self-ownership

John Locke believed that a man earns ownership when he mixes labor with it. hen a man works for property or money he can claim this when he actually puts effort into trying to get it or puts work into it.This would explain the reason why some men are wealthy and others are not;its because they decided to put the effort in when the lazy decide to sit around and wait for things to fall into their lap. This was one of his radical conception that he contributed to political philosophy and being a political philosopher himself.

Treaties

Locke wrote two treaties. the first treaties was against the divine rights of kings. Locke agreed with the idea of government and tat people should be able to vote on the issues at hand. Along with that he against slavery, He thought that they were "vile" to put a man in poor conditions and expect him to work for free. Though men weren't originally born free, he believed they should be and should be given freedom. Biblicaly men are meant to be free. A last summarized point of this treaties is that a a father can overrule his children in every aspect but cannot try to overrule their own political views.

This treaty states that men were given the Earth to claim by God and that that given right shouldn't be taken away. This again goes over all the main ideas in his first treaty and states the law of nature that he pretty much designed by standing at a logical view point and putting all life into perspective.

This is one of Locke's great accomplishments and is something that very much influenced the founding fathers and law of the United Sates. To generally put it, Locke saw the idea of murders and different types of murder. If a man is attacked by another man and has to defend himself then he should be ruled differently then a man who is killed in cold blood. this all went to the fact that he wanted equality and our general rights.
