Shakespeare shows love in Act 2 scene 6 as firstly the scene is the marriage ceremony showing the love as you wouldn't marry somewhere who you did not love. Also by Friar Lawrence saying 'till holy church incorporate two in one'. It shows that they are joining together showing that they are in love

Shakespeare shows violence in act 2 scene 6 by taking back references to the fighting between the two families. By Friar Lawrence stating 'these violent delights have violent end' it shows us that he thinks that if Romeo and Juliet get married then the violence will stop and they will live in harmony.

The scene starts with Romeo and Friar Lawrence waiting for Juliet to come so Romeo and her can get married. While waiting, Friar Lawrence warns Romeo that he shouldn't rush things otherwise he may regret it in the future. However, Romeo says that whatever sadness he feels in the future, it "cannot countervail the exchange of joy". Then Juliet comes in and embraces Romeo, and Friar Lawrence takes the couple to the church to get married.

I'm act 2 scene 6 Friar Lawrence is presented as wise, he says 'these violent delights have violent ends.' This is almost foreshadowing the end of the eponymous heros. Friar Lawrence is also wise by warning them on what could happen if their love doesn't overpower hate.In act 2 scene 6 Romeo is presented as poetic, he says 'love devouring death' this also foreshadows the end where love ends up bringing death. It also personifies death. This also shows that Romeo is an arcitiyple romanticIn act 2 scene 6 Juliet is presented as if she would do anything for her love with Romeo. She say, ' but my true love is grown to such excess I cannot sum up sum of half my wealth' this shows that she would give up money for Romeo and that her love for him has grown so much that it's more than she can express. This shows that she is very in love.
